Privacy policy

What we collect

• Listing details you submit: the name, one-line pitch, URL, and optional logo you put on the board. These are public by design; that is the product.
• Your email: used for receipts and for the private link that lets you manage your listing. It is never shown publicly.
• A salted hash of your IP address: used for rate limiting and for deduplicating outbound clicks. We do not store raw IP addresses.
• Outbound click counts: how many times each listing's link was clicked, shown on the board.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we never receive card numbers. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by the Stripe privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

We set only functional httpOnly cookies, and only so that the browser you bought from can control its own entries. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers on the site. We use our hosting provider's cookie-free, anonymous page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to count visits and referrers; it does not identify you or follow you across sites.

No selling or sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Data goes only where the service needs it to run: to Stripe for payments and to the infrastructure providers below.

Deleting your data

To request deletion of your data, email support@bustabid.lol from the address you used at checkout and tell us which listing it concerns.

Where data lives

The site runs on Vercel, the round engine on Fly.io, and the database on Supabase, all in US regions.
